BEFORE
This is how it looked when I bought it. Just what I'd want on a 4x4 a doubled roll bar with four KC on it. It's got a small block 350 with a RV cam, Weiand Intake and quadra-jet 4 barrel carb, a 6 inch lift and a quick shift kit. Has 33x12.5x15 tire on 15x10 white spoke rims. Hope to get some new chrome steel rim of some kind and new tires before long. I would like to add Powertrax No-slip locker front and rear, a custom front bumper and a winch to get me out of those deep mudholes, and some other items. I know it's gonna take time and some $$$$$ but it will be well worth it when I get done with it.
As a kid playing in the dirt with my Hotwheels 4x4 Chevy Truck I wanted to have the real thing. Well I finally got it. At the price of $1150 I couldn't pass it up.
Must have been in a fight to get that black eye. I put the lights on the front bumper. They weren't there when I bought it. (above and below)

Just got the hood done and back on the truck before a big storm moved in. It's not night in the pic it's about 3 in the afternoon. Flames lined up good with the ones on the fenders

This is the 4th 4x4 I've own. And by far my favorite. I had a '69 Ford 4x4, a '87 Mazda 4x4 pick-up and a '93 Mitsubishi 4x4 Might Max pick-up.
Engine Troubles
While, I blew a head gasket, so I made a few changes to the motor while I had it apart. I add a Edlebrock Performer Intake, Edlebrock Performer carburetor, Edlebrock chrome valve cover and breather, and a set of headers. I really like the Edlebrock carburetor, it ran great on this motor right out of the box without making any adjustments. Ain't no professional show truck, but "damn" does it run. I've also put new tires on the truck sent I got it. It now sports 35x12.5x15.

Well the truck is off to a new home. I sold the truck after I took the motor out for a new project I'm gonna start. I have all the 4x4 I need with the '91 Jeep Cherokee I bought this year. My neighbor offer to sell me a '37 Dodge truck, so I'm finally gonna get to have an old rod like I've wanted for years. Watch for more on this site for my project '37 Dodge Rat Rod truck! I'm gonna be take the Auto Body Class at Grayson County College (GCC) and this truck will be my project for the class.
